Linear actuators
Linear Actuators consist of a compact Tin-Can motor and a screw-nut system. They are appropriate for all positioning functions and for flow rate regulation (air, liquid or gas). Based on the permanent magnet technology, they are highly robust and they provide high accuracy.

Motor principle
These actuators consist of a stepping motor and a screw-nut system for movement conversion. The choice of basic motor and screw –particularly its pitch –can optimize displacement speed, travel and system reversibility, according to the application requirements. The possibility of integrating an anti-rotation device in the actuator or not makes this a very flexible design.
In some cases, the internal thread used as a nut is tapped directly at the center of the rotor. The screw is then transverse and the actuator obtained is compact. These actuators are particularly appropriate for all positioning functions as well as for flowrate regulation (liquid or gas), via a needle valve at the end of the screw.
