Mechatronics contribute to out-of-body simulation

To see our technologies used in advanced research is always rewarding - even more so when our innovations contribute to improving the quality of life.

Thanks to our Mechatronics know-how, SONCEBOZ’ team has engineered a six-axis robotics platform that the Blanke Lab (Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience @Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) uses to trigger visuo-vestibular conflicts which simulate the little understood out-of-body phenomenon for neuroscientists to study.

Watch our platform in motion simulate an out-of-body experience conducted by the Blanke Lab (audio in German, subtitles available) : Click here
