New linear actuator with self closing
Based on the permanent magnet stepper motor technology, this new "Self closing" linear actuator offers an integrated return to zero. Axis and plastic body have been specially designed in order to obtain a mechanical stop. When power supply fails, the mobile unit, i.e. the axis, always comes back in a pre-settled position. This return to 0 helps securing the final application. This linear actuator is designed to live into harsh and complex industrial environments. Its reliability is established by the usage of a Tin Can motor proven to the automotive under-hood compartment harsh conditions. With a maximal travel length of 10mm, a 70g weight, a 20 N torque and a speed reaching 30mm/s, this actuator is particularly adapted for applications in the heating, automotive and the medical fields.
